This year I won 1st place in chess for kids for grade 4. There were 12 kids in my grade but I got first. I beat the highest rated grade 4. My rating is now 700 and I am the 28th highest rated in all of chess for kids.

For halloween this year I was a Ninju. It was lots of fun. My favorite part was carving the pumpkins - it was very messy. Trinity was a ladybug and Caleb was a Powerranger and Isaac was Darth-Vader. We went around the block to go trick or treating.

I made a castle, it took me a long time to make it. It has a horse stable with 2 horses. Also it has a jail and a spare weapons room. It has a secret escapte route too. It also has slots for archers to shoot through.

A few weeks ago we went to laser quest. Me and caleb got to pick a friend i picked devin and caleb pickd matt. we had lots of fun my code name was 007. we played 2 rounds the first time i got 24th place the second time i got 18th place. i hope i get to play again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I entered a contest. I made a creation I called it the Weapon Carrier. It was for the knights kingdom lego. It carried weapons and was also a half seize-machine. I wonder if I will win a prize.

Me and my friend Devin and my brother Caleb went to go see the movie Narnia at a theater. The night before we had a sleep over at my house. I liked the movie a lot. I liked the battle at the end. There was one part that freaked everyone out. It was when a wolf jumped out at Edmund when he was going to visit the white witch again. The night after we saw Narnia, we had a sleep over at Devin’s house.

For Christmas we got 2 big Star Wars lego sets. We got a big station with a landing pad from Mom and Dad. We got another big Star Wars lego set from our Gramma. She gave us a set with Tie Fighters and a Tie Interceptor. We got one other ship from the Tie Fighter collection too.

We also got Star Wars Episode 1 and 2 on DVD. I like the pod race in episode 1 and in episode 2. I like the battle with clone troppers against battle droids.

I won first place in a grade championship tournament in chess. It was hard. The last game I played my opponent had won the same amount of games as me. He made a mistake so I was able to win. They also had life-sized chess pieces. I played with them a lot.

A grade championship tournament is a special kind of tournament where you play people in your grade in school.

I played Lysander in Shakespeare’s “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” for my Friday club. The play was lots of fun! We only had 6 weeks to memorize our scripts. The first two weeks we had to read the book.

We didn’t memorize our lines but our teacher said it was ok. So we held our scripts.

We learned about Mexico at school. And they have these type of parties called fiestas. Me and my two friends at school, their names are Sam and Josh, we made Mexican food called Cerritos.

We also made pinatas which were a lot of fun to break. Me and Sam made a pig pinata. Caleb and Josh made a fish pinata. Heather and Emily and Allison made a flower pinata.
